Research librarians are available remotely to assist with finding and using information and library materials. Consulting with a librarian may help you find specific articles, books, and other information; navigate databases and other information sources; identify sources for researching a topic; and develop research plans.
In-person service at the Law Library’s Reference Desk and in-office consultation has been suspended until further notice. To contact a research librarian for remote assistance, send an email to email@example.com to schedule a consultation via Zoom or email. Please allow 24 hours for a reply.
For more information and updates about available services, please consult the Library Services FAQ.
Members of the Cornell community may schedule an appointment with a research librarian for more in-depth remote consultations. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your status (e.g., law student or graduate student), the subject of the consultation, and some times when you would be available to meet virtually. Librarians are unable to provide any type of legal advice to library users. Providing such advice violates the rules and laws governing the practice of law.
