Brat girl summer is officially over, we have entered dark academia winter. Wear a wool blanket, carry warm drinks with you, and eat lots of carbs.
Law Library News:
- A reminder that you are allowed to bring warm drinks like coffee or tea with you in library, but that they must have lids on them! (Food not allowed though, please eat your carbs in the Atrium or elsewhere). The Reading Room might start getting chilly (tall ceilings make it hard to heat an old room) so bundle up and bring your sweaters.
Law Library Resource Highlight:
- The Law Library has various Online Study Aids to help, which you can explore through our guide here: Online Study Aid Collections – *Law Databases – LibGuides at Cornell University.
- Past exams that you can use for practice can be found on the Registrar’s Website in the Exam Archive.
Local Library Highlight:
- If you are looking to spend some time away from the law school and want to get involved with other cool projects, The Durland Alternatives Library, located in Anabel Taylor Hall just a quick skip away from the law school, recruits volunteers to help with Prisoner Express. Volunteers for Prisoner Express write letters back to people incarcerated across the country who submit poetry, creative essays, or request books. Volunteers can also help package books and coordinate and write newsletters to send to people who are incarcerated.
