It’s snowing outside. Luckily, the law library has snacks, puzzles, and cute animals to keep your dopamine levels up while you hunker down for finals.

Law Library News:

  • Pet Therapy with Cornell Companions will be visiting the Student Lounge this Friday, December 6th from 12:00-1:00pm. A great way to remind yourself that at least some beings on this planet are unaware of what res judicata or the rule against perpetuities or subject matter jurisdiction are and are having a great time napping, eating, and living happy lives.
  • The Law School building, including the Reading Room, will be closed to anyone outside of the law community during final exams. The Law School will be locked starting this Friday, December 6th and you will only be able to come in and out of the building and the Reading Room if you have your Cornell ID with you. Make sure you also have your law sticker on your Cornell ID to help library staff verify that you are a law student and allowed to be studying in our spaces during finals. (If you don’t have one, please ask the staff at the Circulation Desk for a law sticker for your ID). Law library staff will be doing their best to keep undergraduate students out of your study space during final exams. Law library staff may also ask to see your ID to confirm you are a law student, so feel free to study in the library with your ID on the table next to you so they can check your status without having to disturb you.
  • The Hub will be closed from 7:00am-4:00pm on December 10, 13, 16, and 19 to accommodate exams.
