KEYWORDS: Law Library Weekly Newsletter

And just like that, it’s the last week of classes of the Fall ’21 semester. You did it! Congratulations! Now we know that you are definitely following government guidelines while getting ready for exam period – which is to say you’re studying early and often “out of concern, not panic.”  If you do find yourself with a case of the freak outs, remember that you are as smart as a law student. Which is to say, very. Also, you have Keywords, your very own weekly law library newsletter and personal cheerleader in your corner. You got this!

Study Aid

By now, you’ve heard all about online study aids. Heck, by now you may have even used one of them. Or twenty. If you’re looking for a something to aid your studying that hits a little closer to home, don’t forget to check out the law school’s online exam archive. Think of it as getting your hands on a copy of a previous exam. Because that’s exactly what it is.

Study Break

They say that what you surround yourself with is a reflection of who you are. This explains why you spend so much time in the library since just like law books, you’re so full of legal knowledge and may crack if not handled with care. Take care of yourself and take a few minutes every now and then to take a study break, for goodness’ sake.

Study Break Aid

So you’re a law student and don’t exactly know what to do with yourself if you’re not studying. Don’t worry; we’re here to help. Once classes end, the law library will transform into a wellness haven with activities to relax your minds. Think of it has a spa break for your brain. Because that’s exactly what it is.

Interested? Intrigued? Insanely tired? Stop by the Reading Room and 3rd floor library areas next week to find out more.

We will be back next week with a new edition of Keywords. In the meantime, wear your mask in the library even when no one’s watching, stop by the reference desk for in-person research consultations, and send your legal research questions to lawref@cornell.edu.
